10/22/2024, 5:56 PM@Fatuma A: we hired a junior front-end developer who showed awesome, well-structured OS projects he did as fun apps. It was non-profit, non-commercial but very well structured, clean code. OS projects are great as a portfolio.

For me, I have general opensource contributions and one project I try to maintain. I find it hard to articulate on a resume.
Like is it supposed to be under work experience? It's own section? Should I list by organisation or by volume and such.
I did come across a project called "OpenSauced" while trying to find a way to show my contributions on my site and ended up being a regular-ish contributor there

10/22/2024, 6:05 PMImho, a section for "Open Source" could make sense, with your highlights. Generically, you should pick ones that have name recognition—but specific job opportunities might be more interested in one or another, so definitely keep it modular.
