Hey. We are quite confident and proud of Cerbos' performance and resource fingerprint because that's something that has always been a core value in our design. That being said, I am not sure that side-by-side performance comparisons are quite that useful. Although these are all authz solutions, they are quite different in terms of how they tackle the problem. So, it's not necessarily an apples-to-apples comparison. There are lots of infrastructure and implementation details that are hard to control for in a pure side-by-side performance benchmark and the results you get will not mean much unless you're building an HFT system or something similar where nanosecond differences are critical.
While performance is absolutely important, other factors such as the simplicity and architecture of the solution, effort required for implementation and maintenance, documentation, testability, extensibility, scalability, observability, and security should be equally as important as well.
